Got 4 wings for the 2 for 1 deal. You had to get a drink and luckily for me, beers were on special for $5 each!
Sriracha honey - really good. A bit of sweet with heat.
NOLA BBQ - I'm typically not a fan of bbq, but this one had a decent kick to it along with a bit of sweet. It wasn't the usual bbq I've tried. I liked this.
Chilean chili - this one for sure had a kick to it, but it had a really good flavour as well.
Sticky sesame - this one wasn't spicy at all and not intended to be, so it was kind of a nice break between the 3 above flavours. Not one I'd get on its own though. -

We came on a Friday afternoon during Happy Hour.
Luckily for me frozen peach Bellinis ( my favourite ) were on special.
Jared was our server and he was excellent! He was friendly, efficient and very cool- like a buddy you had known forever.
Sadly the other 2 times we went, drinks were not good as the first time. Nor was the food.
It's like when you go in with Low expectations, and then you're pleasantly surprised.
That was our first visit. After that, we went in with high expectations, only to be disappointed. Highly doubt we would go back. -

Wow, I haven't been here since high school days, and that was a very long time ago. I was actually catching up wth my high school buddy and he was craving wings, and so we decided on this place. The two of us came around 6:30 PM on a Wednesday for their Wednesday Wings Special (with a purchase of a drink), which was half price wings. The restaurant looked exactly the same as the last time I visited. However, it was a lot hotter inside.
We ordered Jakarta Heat, BC Honey Q, and Tahitian Coconut Chili Lime, as well as a side of yam fries. We had a generous portion of yam fries and they were delicious. They were well seasoned, which were perfect with the aioli. Most importantly, they were crispy. Not one yam fry was soggy at all. We made a mistake of ordering Jakarta Heat because they were way too spicy for us. We did enjoy the BC Honey Q and Tahitian Coconut Chili Lime though. I would say BC Honey Q would be my favourite out of the three because it was the most flavourful. The Tahitian Coconut Chili Lime wings were interesting in my opinion. The wings were sprinkled with some coconut flakes, but the flavour quickly faded. As I bit into it more, I couldn't taste any chili or lime. So, the wings felt a little bland aside from the coconut flavour from the first bite.
Service was very quick, though inconsistent at times. I had to constantly ask for my water to be refilled. Food came in lightning speed, but again, those items could easily be prepared in a short period of time. I ordered a ginger ale but it was overly sweet, unlike any regular ginger ale. It tasted like it was loaded with syrup, I didn't enjoy it at all. We sat at a two-person booth and unfortunately, the table was just not big enough for 3 big plates of food, along with our own plates. I also didn't like how two kinds of wings were put together on one plate, especially putting dry and wet wings together. As a result, some dry wings were covered with the sauce from the other wings. Overall, I felt cramped and inconvenient at times. -

Service: 3.5/5 They're definitely trying! Friendly & always ready to cater. However there were a few points that I thought fell a wee bit short compared to its other locations:
1) Twice we were at the front waiting for a while to be seated even when the store was empty. Sort of wandered around until someone finally noticed us.
2) Was served the wrong wings twice.
3) Some of the 'classic cocktails' aren't made properly ie. Mint Julep - also arrived lukewarm.
4) Some servers definitely don't seem all too welcoming or friendly.
5) Server at the time didn't know the drinks on tap.
Food: 4/5 the Buffalo Sliders & Pasta are decent. WINGS however STILL REIGN KING as the staple chicken wings location in the GVA. Say what you want but the variety of flavours & their deals for Wed&Sun always awesome.
Overall: I still have faith in this franchise. Like I said they are definitely trying so I'd have to give them a 3.5/5 -

Wings is always a good pub to go for drinks or watch the game with friends. Good atmosphere when we went and the service was good considering how busy it was. Definitely will come back in the future.
